Privacy Policy — Love Letters

Love Letters is an audio walking-tour app. This policy explains what data the app and its service providers process and why. The app does not require an account, does not show advertising, does not sell personal data, and does not track users across apps or websites.

Location data

If you grant location permission, the app may read your precise or approximate location to select the relevant city, display your position on the map, and support walk mode. The current coordinates are sent to the Love Letters backend at admin.lovelettersadmin.ru so it can return the appropriate city and tour content. No name, email address, or account identifier is sent with this request. Standard server logs may be retained for service operation, security, and troubleshooting.

Yandex MapKit

The map is provided by Yandex MapKit. According to Yandex's terms, MapKit may process precise or approximate location and movement parameters, Internet Protocol (IP) address, operating-system type, app version, a device or application identifier, feature-usage statistics, and other technical data to render maps, maintain the service, and compile statistics. Yandex processes this data under its Privacy Policy and Maps API terms.

In-app purchases

Optional donations are processed by Apple through StoreKit on iOS and by Google through Google Play Billing on Android. Love Letters receives the selected product identifier and purchase-completion status, but does not receive or store your payment-card details. Purchase data is handled under Apple's Privacy Policy and Google's Privacy Policy.

Contact and support

If you contact us by email, we process the information you choose to send only to respond to your request and maintain the necessary correspondence. We retain it only as long as reasonably necessary for that purpose or as required by law.

Your choices

You can deny or revoke location permission at any time in iOS or Android Settings. The app remains usable with a manually selected city, although location-based walk features may be limited. You may request access to or deletion of information you have provided directly to us by emailing lovelettersisrael@gmail.com.

Changes

We may update this policy when the app or its service providers change. The current version and its effective date will always be published on this page.
